These Terms of Service apply to the use of this website and any purchase made from Deux Âmes (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

Products

Deux Âmes offers:

  • Handmade candles and wax sachets

  • Imported stainless steel jewelry

Due to the handmade nature of certain products, minor variations in color, texture, and appearance may occur. Product images are for illustrative purposes only.

Prices and Taxes

All prices are displayed in Swiss Francs (CHF).

Deux Âmes is not subject to Swiss VAT (MwSt / TVA), as the annual turnover is below the mandatory VAT registration threshold. Therefore, all prices are shown without VAT.

Orders and Payment

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order in reasonable circumstances, including but not limited to suspected fraud, incorrect pricing, or technical errors.

Payments are processed securely via third-party payment providers.

Shipping

We ship exclusively within Switzerland.

Processing times and delivery estimates are provided for guidance only and may vary. We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services or circumstances beyond our control.

Returns and Refunds

Returns and refunds are governed by our Return & Refund Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms of Service.

Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept returns or exchanges for:

  • Candles

  • Wax sachets

  • Scented products

unless the item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect.

For jewelry items, returns or exchanges may be accepted in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy.
Customers must contact us within 3 days of delivery and provide clear photographic evidence where applicable.

Safety and Use Disclaimer

Our products must be used only as intended and in accordance with the provided safety instructions.

Deux Âmes shall not be held liable for damage, injury, allergic reactions, or losses resulting from improper use, misuse, or failure to follow safety guidelines, to the extent permitted by law.

Candle Safety Information

Our candles are handmade and intended for decorative and aromatic use only. Please follow these safety guidelines carefully:

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended

  • Keep candles away from children, pets, flammable objects, drafts, and heat sources

  • Always place candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface

  • Do not burn candles near curtains, fabrics, or furniture

  • Trim the wick to approximately 5–7 mm before each use

  • Do not burn candles for more than 3–4 hours at a time

  • Stop using the candle when approximately 1–2 cm of wax remains

  • Containers may become hot during use — handle with care

Deux Âmes is not responsible for damage or injury caused by improper use or failure to follow these instructions.

Allergy Disclaimer

Our candles are made with fragrance oils that may contain allergens. Individuals with allergies, asthma, respiratory sensitivities, or fragrance sensitivities should use scented products with caution.

If irritation, headache, nausea, or any allergic reaction occurs, discontinue use immediately and ventilate the area.

Jewelry Safety & Care Information

Our jewelry is made from imported stainless steel (commonly 304 and 316 grades) and is designed for everyday wear.

While stainless steel jewelry is waterproof and durable, proper care helps preserve its appearance and longevity.

  • Jewelry is not a toy and should be kept away from children

  • Prolonged exposure to saltwater, chlorinated water, or harsh chemicals may affect the finish

  • Remove jewelry before intense physical activity or extended moisture exposure

  • Avoid unnecessary contact with perfumes, cosmetics, cleaning agents, or abrasive substances

Stainless steel is generally skin-friendly; however, individual reactions may vary.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Swiss law, Deux Âmes shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or Services.

This limitation does not apply in cases of intent or gross negligence.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland.
